In October of 2013 everything changed here at the Jonesboro Western Sizzlin. A local businessman and seasoned restaurant owner, Tim Ponder, became the new proprietor and recommitted Western Sizzlin to quality food choices, excellent service and creating a family friendly atmosphere.
We serve the highest quality cuts of steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. Our buffet bar has over 100 items from crisp, fresh salads, perfectly ripe fruits and vegetables to hot, tasty entrees. While we have kept the most popular Western Sizzlin buffet dishes, we are also adding a lot of new dishes and bringing favorites from H.T. Ponders and Ole Feed House.
Come to the Jonesboro Western Sizzlin restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights to indulge in our seafood buffet. Fried and baked fish, frog legs, fried shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, crab cakes, fried clams and ribs are just some of the items you will enjoy.
For dessert lovers we have added a “tastefully twisted” Flavor Burst ice cream machine. Soft serve vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peach, butter pecan, caramel, banana, cotton candy and orange ice cream flavors are available and you can mix any combination into an artful dessert concoction. We have many cobblers including strawberry, yes that's right - STRAWBERRY COBBLER, and other dessert treats like hot fudge cake and pudding. If your children don't have enough room for dessert right after their meal then we will send them out the door with an ice cream cone.
